looky what I got :)

YAY!!!!! my mail art from the lovely Mindy Lacefield of Tim's Sally turned up yesterday morning, cheering up my letter box.
I really love the whole 'mail art' concept and I will definately be hosting one here on my blog.....BUT..... I am going to wait until after Christmas to do it.....WHY?..... well I don't know about you but I always suffer some sort of 'Winter Blue's' and it usually hits me around late January time, so I thought what better way to keep the blue's away than to do a little mail art exchange and make my letter box happy as well as me :o)
So do look out on my blog for that coming sometime in January and if on the off chance I forget just give me a nudge and remind me ;o)

The cutest birdy you ever did see from the lovely Mindy Lacefield :o)

  7. Yay for you! I love Mindy and her work. I really need to get in the mail art thing. I tend to go crazy and make a complete painting. That's just too time consuming to do for a lot of people so I need to figure out a way to speed things up! LOL

You know you could come to New Zealand after Christmas, we don't really go in for a winter Christmas down here... it will be blissfully warm!

Count me if for your mail art project, I might even send you a little bit of our sunshine...

  13. LOVE Mindy and her ART. I would totally participate after Christmas. I agree, the winter blues suck. We have snow for about 7 months here in Canada where I live...

I'm LOVING your "NEW" work Micki. It's so nice to know that I'm not alone in the world of letting the art grow and evolve into exactly what it's supposed to be. Have a fabulous weekend! xo

  15. Hi,

    Wonderful !!!

you have so much talent one as the other !

Would you make an exchange of MailArt with me?
I do not have much talent (or even not at all) but I like this kind of exchange.
I discovered your blog, about a month ago... and personally, I love your work.

    Cheers !!
